Email open other location without my knowledge

:confused:I would like to inform you that on Saturday the 28th May, 2011 my gmail account was blocked for unknown reasons.
On verification of the same I noticed that my account had been activated from Chile. The I.P. address print shot is attached for your reference.
I contacted google and after my personal verification they activated my gmail account once again.
In view of what is stated above, I would like to request you to look into the matter as to how my account was activated from Chile when I am staying in UAE.
I hope you will look into the matter and arrange to do the needful.

It's called password hacking and happens a lot especially with hotmail and yahoo email accounts.
 
And just to clarify, we can't do anything to stop it from happening again, or go after the person who did it. We're only a computer forum, not the cyber police.
 
Well i had the problem and someone sending email from a yahoo account. With ATT Uverse. I never sent email from yahoo. For the record i changed password with Virtual keyboard built into windows. Thats about all i could do. And yes i scanned and asked for assistance here. said clear. May have been a keylogger in the past.
just sharing. i use virtual keyboard for credit cards. ive changed my policy if accessing a account on line.
