Hi I have to different workplaces, both with DSL with the same ISP. What could be the easiest and cheapest way to create a VPN, security is not a main concern actually, what do you sugest.

I am thinking on a static IP address for the main office, and then on the second office make the connection to the listening server with static IP, am I right on this??

THanks for your help.

Well, first off, how close are the systems to each other? If they're relatively close, then, you can just connect them both to a router and that to the internet source or however your provider reccomends setup of your connection. Are there any peripherals?

If the computers are pretty far away, you can set up a wireless connection and for that you'd need a wireless router.

Either way, you'll need a NIC for each computer and make sure your drivers are installed.

if you wan router to router connections you need a static IP on both sides.

If you want to dial in to the office you can already ... you have windows 2003 or SBS right? it comes with RAS and you can make VPN connections to that .. but you will have to enable it
