I'm trying to change over from Outlook Express to Thunderbird. Having trouble with getting a new password to start. Also would like to know how to get ride of Outlook, and how to transfer the files from Outlook to Thunderbird. Thanks

installing thunderbird or firefox will be an option to import from ie explorer or outlook express. after that, and when you get everything working right you can backup firefox and thunderbird with this freeware that works fine and has for years.

i would not get rid of outlook express. its not that big.
on the otherhand if you use firefox don't get rid of ie explorer because
you need it for updates.

Password

I now know how to solve the other issues, but having trouble with the password. tried the password my isp gave me. Is it the password from firefox, or netscape?Can't start it if there is no password that works. HELP!

easy solution is call your provider and ask them to reset your password.
