dxdiag problem

After i reformatted my computer, i am unable to watch DVD's on my computer. The error says that directdraw must be enabled on dxdiag. Although when i go to enable it, it says that its not available or not supported. I have an ATI 9200SE 128mb video card and the latest drivers from the ATI website, and i am still unable to select it. (It used to work before i reformated, and i reformatted many times before this).

Hmmmm

Just to mention. You will have a very hard time unistalling that bro! DirectX does not offer you the option of an unistall or a proper reinstall. I had a problem simmilar to yours and had to actually wait for the next DirectX version to come out. Then it was fine. Good luck.A reformat is your last resort.

You dont uninstall. You just install overtop whatever is there :)

You are not able to reinstall it, i tried. I downloaded it from the microsoft website, when i go to install, where it normally would say "installing" it just says "DirectX is installed and ready to use". I might end up just doing a format.
