We currently have a dual monitor pc using a standard monitor and a Visio tv monitor. The problem we are having is when the pc has been on for a while the standard monitor does not turn back on. In order to bring the computer back up we must use the Visio, which is normally used for cable till needed, to bring the pc back up from the log in screen, then the standard monitor kicks back in. The standard monitor is used as the first screen, the visio is the secondary. Any Ideas?

Just to clear your question up, the standard monitor is your primary display and the visio is your secondary? Also the visio is the monitor that comes back after the computer is asleep or hibernating, until you log on then your primary monitor comes back?
Ok, a few things to try...
1. leave both of the monitors on and connected. Let the computer go to screen saver. Wake it up and see what monitor the log in screen comes in on.
2. disable and disconnect the visio tv and try #1 again.
There is a chance that in somehow in sleep mode it is switching which monitor is primary. A quick fix may just be that you have to disable the visio tv when you are not using it as a secondary.
