I want to connect my computer to a linksys BEFSR41 dsl router. Then run a cat 5 (I believe, it a normal cable) to computer 1 and another cable to a wireless router (Netgear Rangemax wireless router, the one with blue lights and no antenna) so that I can connect to computer 2 wirelessly.

My questions are:
The dsl company has another line that is not connected to anthing in my house (it says Nordx9CDT (L) enhanced NOR5 Verified (ETL Category 5 E CMP CSA CMP 24 AWG 001107 11:26 B). Can I put a connector on both ends and run it from the linksys router to the range max wireless router.

If i cant do that can I just use one of the routers. And go to computer 1 and use the other cable (after I put connectors on the ends) to go directly to computer 2.

I knon it is  confusing to read and understand. I am a noob so work with me(a lot).

Use a CAT5 from the Linksys Uplink to the wireless router, then another CAT5 from the Linksys to the first computer (don't use port1 because it is shared with the uplink port). Read this for configuration pointers.

If you are building cables, be sure you are making them correctly and using straight-through, not crossover.
