It is probably an interfernce between your phone wireless signal, and your routers wireless signal. What type of phone do you have, and what type ouf router do you have? Is your phone literally next to your router?

cordless phone I'm guessing? I have seen those interfere with wireless connections before..

I was installing a wireless network for a client, and was having just bizarre connection problems... until I figured out when his 2 daughters were on cell phones + a cordless phone going at the same time, the router would practically lock up the connection!

As soon as they were off the phone, I power cycled the router, and the connection was back!
