Downloads going to ITunes-Want them to go WMP

Problem is I have a very bad case of tinnitus or ringing in the ears. I'm always trying to find versions of "white noise" that when I listen to it on my MP3 player it will "mask" the tinnitus.
I found 3 white noise type tracks that I want to download to WMP so I can transfer them to my Coby MP3 player. Now for downloading songs that I buy from amazon.com they are sent directly to WMP and downloading them is very simple.
The 3 tracks say to right click,save target as. When I do this the tracks are always sent to ITunes but I want them to go to WMP. Am I doing something wrong? All 3 are mp3 files so is it possible for the files to show up on WMP instead of ITunes? If so how do I do it? Many thanks for your help!
 
Just save the file over to your wmp library. Don't you get a window that comes up asking where you want them saved to when click on save target as?

Control Panel > Default Programs (may need to set to Classic View if in XP, or Small/Large icons in Vista, 7 and 8) > Set Default Programs.

Select WMP, set it as the default for .MP3 files, and they will open in WMP from now on.

Alternatively, find the file, right click it and select Open With > Choose Default Program and select WMP there
