Don't know what it could be

Sorry ahead of time if I posted this is the wrong spot as this is my first post on here. Please move to wherever appropriate.

Within the past few uses of my computer, I have had trouble using it. If i don't boot from f10, my mouse and keyboard will cutoff, not allowing me to use them, and forcing a shutoff. However, if I do boot from f10, I seem to have a working computer, although sometimes the problem would happen when not using for a while (As I do keep this computer on. Yeah, not needing the whole heat speech on the computer.). I don't feel as if this is something coming from BIOS, meaning it would have to be a windows problem but it's not out of the line of options. Anyone know?

On your system what specific function does the F10 button do? Is this a custom built pc or store bought?

Can you give us a list of your specs?
