Does this cable exist?

Hi all. My uncle recently purchased himself a laptop, and they want to connect it to their TV, but it's a old analog-ey thing that has neither VGA or HDMI, just S-Video and Component (RCA). The laptop only has HDMI out as well. He wants to either get a cable and a converter, or a cable that does it, but what I'm looking for here is a cable with HDMI on one end, and the other end is RCA or S-Video or an adapter that allows HDMI input with RCA or S-Video output. Does anyone know of such a thing? Thanks for the help in advance guys.

You are going from digital to analogue, and so need a digital-to-analogue converter, such as:

http://www.amazon.com/HDfuryproTwo-...F8&qid=1363222035&sr=8-1&keywords=hdmi+to+rgb

At 70 for the box, would it not possible be worth getting a whole new set if budget allows? It will obviously be more expensive, but if they are still happy with the current TV it doesn't have to be all singing, all dancing, it would just need to be pretty much anything and it will be better than what they have now in terms of picture quality and for their power bills. If they drop 200 or so on an LED backlit TV, they could be saving $50+ a year, so within just over 2 years the TV has paid for itself vs getting the converter

=EDIT=

Wolfe, it won't work, it is impossible to convert a digital signal to analogue with just a cable, you need a converter

Good point. Not knowing how old that TV is it'll soon go out and you'll get a digital TV for replacement. There'll be no more analog TVs except in hock shops and yard sales.

So just get a new TV and you won't be stuck with conversion crap that'll become obsolete.

Twiki, as much as I appreciate the information, in my original post, I say that this isn't for me, it's for my uncle, which I don't live with and can't exactly just tell him to get a new TV, although when I informed him about the price of converters he said he'd just find something else to use or something, so it's up to him at this point anyway. Thanks for the help though guys.
