And i was wondering , i have a e-tech router what kind of network card do i need to fully

look on the box, because the usually print the speed on it. if it 100Mbit, youd need a 100Mbit pc card to get the ful speed to your router.
anyway, the lengt of the cable does not interfear with the speed of the connection.
as long as you say under (i thought it was ) 350 feet. because then its not working anymore. (because the resistance of the cable is to high, and you'll prolly blowthe network cards ;) )

rarely will you reach or exceed the size limit of cat5 cable.... ive seen it routed much further than 350 ft thru some office buildings i've networked for and it really depends on a lot of coefficients... any type of interference that can be exposed along the way is also a huge factor. cat5 is not sheilded in some cases from higher forms of RF or other types of interference given off by some appliances and whatnot so be cautious when routing long distances.

Damn hehe.

I've never exceeded 83ft with cat5. :)
