Do refurbished ink cartridges come with ink in them?

I just bought a refurbished ink cartridge. It's completely empty.

I have bought refurbished items, before. I could still use them out of the box.

The listing did not say that it didn't have ink in it.

Do I have a cause of action?

Well id have thought with it been "refurbished" they should have put some ink in it lol.

Does the buyer accept returns on them?...if so return it and tell him that the product description is not correct....if he does not accept returns then id contact Ebay because hes description is still wrong.

What i do for my Epson Photo RX500 printer,is buy new (But not genuine Epson) carriages,They're just made by another company and ive never had any problems with them..Usually they're around 65% cheaper than official.

Thanks.

Can I get a second opinion? I'll need some consensus that this is not the industry norm if I am to complain to Ebay.

Here ya go. Refurbished cartridges are fixed up, as in filled back up. You just got cheated out of your money.

Many office supply stores re ink and also walgreen. They also sell reink kits. Ive done many times when younger. Messy though or i learned and could be. If you do then never overfill NEVER or you will destroy a printer. Large piece of card board and latex gloves. Do not overfill. If ya do then throw away.
It will get in the roller and be a mess. I never did, but did see a neighbor that did. i told him.

For years i just buy them when on sale only. And only high capacity cartridges. Just because its a good deal does not mean its the large high capacity cartridge. just a thought.

Yes they do. I purchased some about 6 month ago, about $10 per (compared to about $40 OEM), and they work sweet. Plenty of ink.
