im not sure if the power supply im lookin at is gonna be enough wattage to run my computer.

im lookin at a 550W antec truepower

im lookin to run:

2x 250gb western digital 7200 rpm hard drives

2gb of corsair ram

2 7600 gt nvidia graphics cards in sli

asus a8n-sli deluxe or premimum

cd bruner

dvd burner (yes i want 3 cd drives dont ask)

dvd drive (for gaming)

xfi extreme sound card

5 case fans

aspire xplorer mid tower

amd athlon 3800 dual core cpu

It should be enough but you should really pay attention to the amps on the 12v, but since the PSU is an Antec then I'm 80% sure that it will enough for what you have.

so goin any higher with the wattage would be silly? or a good idea cause i dont plan on upgrading this comp probably ever and i just wanna make sure that everything get enough juice.

and im not too sure what yu mean by the amps on the 12v. could yu plz clarify.

I used to have a 430 watt PSU(a crappy one) and it was running everything in my sig, about 5 80mm fans and my PC ran fine. I don't see why that PSU wouldn't be enough for your rig, and Antec is one of the best PSU makers on the market.

If you want to learn more about PSUs then just read through PSU 101.
