Do I need a new PSU?

(Ok I think the answer will be yes, but I just want to make sure)

Right, I'm building myself a computer, and just got most of it earlier today, but I read the book that came with my graphics card (XFX 7800GTX), and it says I need at least a 400W power supply to run the card, and I've only got a 300W. Now I know that companies will normally overestimate, but would it be too risky to try running the card anyway?

yes get a new cpu for that card get something like a 500w what else do u have in teh system is crucial to so what u got

what are the other specs on the powersupply. like the amps on the 12v rail does it have dual rails if it has like 20 or so on the 12v rail you might be able to run it today but you still need a new powersupply.

I think it has 15 amps on the 12v rail, but I don't really know much about PSU's so I might of read it wrong.

Definitely get a new psu then. My sig box (the dell) is struggling with a 16a +12v.

Ok, like I said I don't really know much about PSU's so what would you recommend getting, if I could get a decent one for under £30 that'd be great.
