After some very tedious phonecalls and series of emails to many a helpline, i have come to the final conclusion that the only way to play my xbox 360 wirelessly is by enabling the dmz... im not too sure what it iz, but for those who have no idea, its putting your comp outside the NAT leaving it free to hackers, but leaving your firewall... i think. I have a windows firewall, and thats it. their i 2 things i would like to gain from this. Clarification on wtf DMZ is, was does or doesnt, and what it affects, and whether enabling it would be a good idea

A DMZ is the demiliterized zone... Meaning there is no firewall, and bad things could happen to yuor computr. BUT in reality, you putting your XBOX out there in the dmz...

I would say put only the ip of the xbox in the dmz.

yeah there should be no problem putting your XBOX 360 in DMZ, but I wouldn't reccomend putting your PC's out of DMZ without a firewall other than Windows Firewall. But, with most routers you can only have ONE machine in DMZ so once again, you shouldn't have a problem puttin your XBOX there and turning off the NAT. ;)
