Hi gang, Serp here again.
I keep getting distortion, like a garbled mess for a couple seconds every few minutes. I think it only does it when I wear my 5.1 surround Headphones.
The headphones are:
Turtle Beach Ear Force X-52
http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/efx52/home.aspx
(They were free from a friend.)
My motherboard is:
Asus M3A32 Deluxe/Wifi
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=149&l3=591&l4=0&model=1930&modelmenu=1
I reinstalled the sound drivers already and it didn't help. Anybody have any idea what it could be?
Should I try to record my computer as I play music to capture the sound and post a video so you guys can see what I'm talking about?
(Obviously if it doesn't record the sound then it's just my headphones I guess)
Edit:
Silly me, Umm Windows Vista 32bit Home
4GB DDR3 Ram
Anything else Relevant to a sound problem?
