DirectX 9.0c Compatible

So I'm looking into picking up a game that's just a few years old. It's minimum requirements are easily met on video card (Nvidia RX2000 256MB) and all the others, but it says it needs a sound card that is DirectX 9.0c Compatible. I don't really have a sound card, per se, no PCI or AGP, just the little card attached to the motherboard; physically that is, not by a slot. My question is; Will this work? The "Multimedia Audio Controller" As windows detects it is as follows: Intel 82801DB(M) ICH4(-M) - AC'97 Audio Controller

I'm thinking it will, because I have no problem running things like Jabo's Direct Sound, but I'm just wanting a second opinion. Thanks :)

Pretty much any soundcard will be DirectX compatible. for best results update your audio drivers to the latest version.
