DHCP issue - not working?

This morning a PC refused to connect to the network. It automatically assigns itself to a private IP address.

I Checked the physical connection and this seems ok.

"ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew" results in error message that "DHCP server unable to be contacted".

Manually assigned the and connects to LAN ok.

Requires investigation to return to DHCP config?

Another PC has been turned on and is doing the same thing. Why? Can anybody help me resolve this?
