I'll try to explain this. Please let me know if you need further explanation.
At our central location we have a Cisco 3600. We connect our Branches 17, 1, and 29 through a frame relay. At each branch we have a Cisco 1700 router. The individual computers are set up with static IP address. The C.I.O. believes that it is necessary to use static IP addresses because of the frame relay.
My question is this; please tell me if I'm wrong. We can use DHCP on these individual computers because they are connecting to the frame relay through the Cisco 1700, right?
