Dell Dimension E521 Bios/Hardware Question

hello,

woke up this morning to pc not booting went into bios and all drives say not present. re seated all cabling on hard drive and dvdrw . still nothing shows up. all stating not present.

i have taken my hard drive and tried in a similar system and tried it in that. works fine. same for dvd drive.

Sounds like motherboard took a crap. Have you tried resetting cmos? Also make sure the sata ports are enabled since this is a Dell. I've seen it where they have gone disabled somehow.
