does any know the dell dimension 4500 specs i hav looked alover the net and cant find them because its a fairly old computer
 
Well arent the specs gonna be different considering everybody customizes their own pc. But i can see what your saying.

Trying talking to dell online or giving them a call.
 
wel is there something on my computer that i can go on to tel me because i am buildin a new computer and would like tu no if tha sound card and graphics card in this is ny good

You can download Cpu-Z.

You can right click on desktop>properties>settings and it will say there.

But based on the specs, everything there is pretty out dated. So a new comp would really have little use for any components.
 
The first comp in my sig is a 4500 and the only thing I have added to it was another 512 ram and the extra two hard drives. I'll have to look around and see if I can find the basic 4500 specs.
 
I might use the ram, dvdr, and the Extra HD's, but everything else is pretty much out-dated by today's standards. It really depends on what you want to use your computer for? Mine is still fine for what I do, light-gaming, surfing, watching DVD's, and stuff like that.

What are the specs on your comp and what do you want to do with it?
If you just looking to improve performance on a tight budget then upgrading might be the best route.
