Deleting files?

My computer I think may have a faulty stick of ram, and I need to take it into my computer shop. But, I do have programs that I would prefer him not seeings, what can I do to delete all of these programs?
 
So I need to burn it too disk and boot of the disk? Well, even if it isn't my ram, I still would have to take it in and get this problem fixed...
 
Just pull your HD out, I am sure they have one that can be used to test it, unless your problem is software related.
