I've already posted this in the gaming section without any positive feedback so here it goes again, hopefully someone can help me out.
Some of the textures, shadows and objects in games such as crysis, farcry2, oblivion can only be viewed when the player is at a close distance, I can be manuevering the player around and bushes will pop up all of a sudden, the further I walk the more bushes pop up... If I walk up to a house, the patterns and shadows will only show up when i'm at a very close distance... they slowly load up the closer I walk to it which is a bit frustrating considering I have a "high end" video card.
I can set the viewing distance to the max, along with all the other graphic settings but it doesn't change a thing. What can I do to improve the viewing distances?
I'm running an e6600, gtx 275, 4gb of ram... whats at fault, my rig or the games?
