creative cards are excellent

i find myself using the digital output on mine a lot more often than the analog 5.1 outputs, tho, because the analog cables are so damn noisy

it's the only way to get surround sound if you're a gamer, tho

in-game surround sound wont transmit through the digital output it's just 2-channel pcm
