DDR2 533 vs 667 vs 800

Hi

I been considering upgrading my ram to 2 sticks of 1GB DDR2 ram. I was wondering if I would notice a difference between 533MHZ, 667MHZ and 800MHZ ram in gaming? If so how much of a difference?

My specs are
cpu = AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
GPU = NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT
mobo = GIGABYTE M61PM-S2

between 533 and 677 yes ull notice but 677 and 800 wont be different unless your OCing then 800 will be alot better
 
The difference in price between DDR2-533 and DDR2-800 is almost nothing, so if your going to buy new RAM, I would get DDR2-800.

You can buy a 2GB set for only $75 anyways.
 
well it doesnt matter how fast your ram is if your mobo doesnt support the extra speed. its worth it to get the 800 because ram is an investment you can easily transfer to almost any system in the future.
