Curious.

It's a Java plugin used on http://www.canyourunit.com and it's used to gauge your system to see if you can run a specific game in their list. You don't need it installed unless you plan on using that website.
 
sounds like the website www.canyourunit.com installs to check your system specs but i could be wrong, you don't need it but if you're going to use the canyourunit website then you will need it :)
