My pc is hooked up to a set of high power professional speakers as I listen to a lot of music. At all sound levels there is a buzzing sound that comes from the pc, noticable during, and more so between, songs. I am using the onboard sound on a 'KN1 SLI Extreme' motherboard.
My question is, is a seperate soundcard likely to improve the sound and solve this problem? Or is there another way?
Any help appreciated...

, the noise you are hearing is the system noise, by getting a sound card it should drain out that sound as it goes through the pci bus.
