Is there still bug whit creative sound card on windows Vista? I have an X-fi and i heard in January that they didnt release the patch to fix the bug. Is it out yet?

Which model X-FI? Since there are several models to choose from you will have to go directly to their support page seen at http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/ to select the series and model directly to see if anything but beta drivers has been released.

On the XtremeGamer model forget anything but beta drivers at the moment, Apparently the only two items for their cards seen are the Creative cd burner plugin and the Creative Mediasource Player/Organizer. That was also seen for the older Audigy models as well.

Ty, is the beta driver working properly or i should wait before installing Viasta?

One problem seen when letting Vista perform the auto search when clicking the update driver option in the device manager was the sudden installation of the software for the SB SE Live model when I have the Audigy 4 Pro here. The extra Programs links were seen just under the Audigy folder there with the sound mixer, speaker settings, and audio console for a few things like the EAX effects.

After remving that stuff the hard way the EAX is now finally active on startup with the beta drivers released for the RC1 beta of Vista. If you are not seeing any seeing any problems getting sound you will have to wait for Creative to get into gear like the rest of us unfortunately.
