Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi question

is the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Champion Series worth all the hype? or is it some overpriced sound card made by creative? im going to be putting a gaming rig together soon and i want the perfect elements to accompany my gaming experience. would these be the best? or is there something that you guys would recommend?
 
Nope totally not worth all the hype,especialy with Creatives dodgy drivers.

I had the Xfi sound-extreme audio,and the Extreme music,Both rendered a pile of crap due to bad drivers!

Your much better off buying a sound card from Asus!...the Xonar series...really good cards and ive not had one problem with their drivers since day one.
 
For gaming...the X-fi line of cards are decent, but the drivers are pretty poor.

Asus makes some great cards for audio...but for gaming i would tend to lean towards HT Omega's offerings.
 
I have the x-fi xtremegamer card and I love the card. I have not had a problem with drivers at all. It has so many options which is a good thing.
