too bad i alreayd ordered my Audigy2 ZS card or i prob would have gotten this even if it was $15 more than my Audigy2 ZS($64)
 
Took the plunge!

Well, I did it - after nearly two weeks of what seems like endless perusal of all sites audio, I finally made my purchase. I ordered the Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers and the Creative Labs SB X-FI Xtreme Music card. Got the speakers for $100.99 incl ship and tax with same for the sound card at $79.99. I have read so many positive postings/reviews about those two components coupled together that I thought it must be an utterly spectacular combination upgrade for my system. This is an upgrade from mere onboard Soundmax audio and 25 watt Altec 2.1 system. I do not game, just love a beautiful sounding speaker system. Question: Does anyone know that if I should ever want to go surround with this configuration, is it possible to just hook up a pair of sattelites into one of the other ports in the card? I really didnt give surround sound much thought as I dont currently have the room for it. Anyway - I cant wait to see what all the fuss is about with these speakers and soundcard. I hope I will be just as ga-ga as everyone else was the first time they heard their set up. VERY nice website btw.
