Creative Audigy SE better than standard onboard audio?

I was just wondering since everyone seems to say that onboard is better
the motherboard is a MSI P6n with 7.1 HD audio and the other card im am looking at is the creative SB Audigy SE. and I was wondering which one gives thebest sound quality i just want it based on that not price

Compaired to your onboard a 30 dollar Audigy SE not going to make much difference. Step up some and get alittle better X-Fi Audio.

Not a Audigy SE or for that matter not even the X Fi Audio, neither do there own onboard sound processing.
