Creative and Vista...a few questions

I am going to be buying Vista Home Premium 64 bit or 32 bit and I have a X-fi xtrememusic soundcard. Now I have heard of some problems with the drivers and stuff for the cards. Does anybody know what exactly the problem is.

And when are they going to be releasing new drivers that are going to fix the problems?

You're probably better off going with the 32bit version (driver wise)

I dont think creative have fully sorted out the vista drivers yet. With mine, the EAX in games isn't supported yet

Yea, sound works fine. Games work fine, im just wondering how diferent games will be when the EAX is sorted. But it sounds fine.

Ok cause I have heard of people saying that the sound is really quiet with their creative cards. What version of Vista do you have and what creative soundcard do you have.

I couldn't ocmment on the volume of it because it all goes through a Sub and 5 satellite speakers, so the volume on windows stays the same. Im using Vista Ultimate and a Creative Audigy SE
