crackling keyboard

I have a problem, that if I type when listening to music there are popping/crackling sounds. This also happens if I play a game and it's pretty annoying. Does anybody know what the problem could be and how to fix it? Thanks!
 
My computer is about 2 years old and has Win2000. Soundblaster Live soundcard. It's propably not the keyboard since I've tried it with another one also. Also propably not the soundcard since I've used the motherboards (nVidia) before and it had the same problem.
 
Do you have the latest drivers installed for your mobo, OS, sounds card, and keyboard? I've heard of this before especially when playing music at the same time. and i believe it's a driver problem.

im at school, everything is blocked:( will try to help out when i get home.
