CPU Overheating?

Hi. My 12 year old son has had a gaming PC for about 3 years. Recently if he is playing certain games (such as Fortnite) the PC will shut down due to the CPU overheating. However, we can see the fan working ok. The PC is fine if playing more basic games or just on the internet/youtube etc. I don't know much about computers so bear with me. Some of the details are:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Geforce RTX 3060 12GB
600W PSU KOLINK 80+
Arctic Alpine 23 95W CPU COOLER

Can anyone direct me to thinks to check/test for to pinpoint what the issue is.

Dusting it out like with compressed air would probably help.
