Corsair RMA Experience

I've bought many Corsair products over the years..cases, memory, coolers..etc and I've always been pleased with quality of their products. Everything from the way they package parts to ease of install and flexibility has impressed me.

I recently purchased a Corsair 350D mATX case for my grandmother and ended up having to do an RMA due to a broken front retention clip for the front aluminum plate, as well as poor adhesive on a drive bay cover, which lead to a trim piece failing in first 72 hours.

This was my first RMA with Corsair, and normally I wouldn't make a post about such a normal process, but I gotta give them credit - from the ease of submitting a ticket, to the prompt response (within 4 hours), to the courteous and professional private support chat, and speediness of receiving my replacement components (6 days), they really blew me away with the process as a whole.

Kudos to Corsair, nice to see that a quality company doesn't just make good products, but stands behind them in the aftercare and they certainly place customer retention and satisfaction as a high priority.

Just thought I'd share..

Another reason to buy Corsair then! I will be recommending their products for a long time to come, especially their power supplies. I tend not to use or recommend any other brand of power supply now. :)

Pleased to hear you had a positive experience!

Yeah, most definitely! I have only used the old PC Power & Cooling PSu that I just retired, and other than that--always used Corsair PSUs.

Their RMA service is indeed pretty good. I've had my RAM fail on me and the process was pretty quick. Their express RMA is pretty good too when my M65 mouse had a problem. The best part of any express RMA service offered by any company is that I don't have to spend the time and effort to package my product and send it to their warehouse. I just reuse the packaging they send me from the replacement.

This new RM650x I grabbed for my other machine is great so far, I keep thinking the PC is off--literally no noise
Similar experience with my Thermaltake unit. I got so used to the fan sound on my old Cougar POS that when I installed this one I thought the fan was broken because I didn't hear it. Nope, silent bearings! :D
