copyright questions

I've taken my 50 and 60 year old 33 1/3 vinyls and put them on CD's. Now I can't make copies, Nero says they are copyrighted and refuses to copy them. I thought there was some kind of time limit, Gene Autry has been gone a long time. It even refused to copy A cd I made myself, some I wrote and some oldies from the 40s. comments?
 
I tried windows media player and it worked on the first one but then wouldn't do the rest. I was able to get the job done with Sony sound forge but it was a lot more work. I had to do each tract one at a time. Thanks fort the advice.
