Connecting to printer on a separate network

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me here. Let me first describe how my network is set up.
My network is connected to cable modem for internet access. So i have a VPN router connected to the cable modem and a wireless router connected to the VPN router. I have 2 computers called compA and compB. CompA is hooked up to VPN router that has LAN IP address of192.168.1.1. CompB, on the other hand, is connected to the wireless router that has IP addr of 192.168.2.1. The printer is connected to the compB.

My question is if there is anyway of accessing to the printer from compA. I know the fact that they are on a separate network (is that right? I'm still learning). Besides of making the printer shareable on the network, what else is there i need to know in order to be able for compA to access to the printer?

Thank you in advance and look forward to hearing from you.

I'm not entirely sure if this is feasible or not since there is two routers involved but i'll throw out a few suggestions regardless. First, make sure both computers are in the same workgroup. Do you know how to do this? Secondly, and i'm not sure if this is even possible, so i'll suggest it and hope other CF users hop in to either verify/discredit this suggestion. Possibly, if there is a way, assign your printer an internal static IP address through the router. When you goto add printer, utilize the option to browse for a printer through the internet. I'm thinking that there you may be able to type in the internal IP of the printer (ex. http://192.168.1.3). Any input on this guys?
