Connecting Suse 10 to Win XP

Hi, I'm trying to connect two computers, one with Suse 10.0, the other Windows XP...
I know where the cable goes but that's about it! If anyone can point me in the right direction.

Are you just wanting to be able to share files and printer between these computers? If so you will need to make sure that Samba is installed and running on your Suse box. Samba will enable file and printer sharing between Linux and Windows.
 
I'm connecting through the ethernet port - want to be able to transfer files from my suse box to windows box. Got it set up so I can see my windows computer from my suse computer and move + copy files from win. box to suse box but not the other way round. (which is what i need)
