Connecting DROID Rezound to my router

I just got a DROID Rezound on Verizon Wireless, and I love the phone but I'm at home and have set up my wireless router which is a Netgear router model SMCD3GNV through comcast. I have reset my phone and router but this keeps happening regardless.

I connect to network , authenticate, disconnect... connect, authenticate, disconnect. Then sometimes will say my password is wrong (although I know its not because I have 2 laptops hooked up to the router as well, and I've been in the router settings and changed the pword again) .

My old phone I had for only a couple months did this as well but I didn't try to figure it out til now because I was about to get a new phone, but it looks like I'm having problems with this one too, any ideas?
 
Lol after you said WPA or WPA2 , I actually checked and found another network password for the security type and it worked haha so thank you very much!
 
If it still has issues staying connected then you may have to reduce the security down to WPA or even WEP.
