Connecting an external Monitor

Hello.

If I´m adding an external monitor, can I work on it like on the first one, but open a extra website or something (more important) from my PC I want to work on?

Like opening an total extra window. And can I do that with the same keyboard or do I need an extra one for that?

Yes, in display settings you'll select to extend the desktop.
