Connecting an External Drive to my Router which does not have a USB port.

Is it possible to connect a standard hard drive in an external case to my router which does not for some reason have a USB port.
Can I buy an adapter and connect into another port?
 
You can connect it to your computer and share the drive to your network. Other than that you'll need a router with a usb port.
