Connecting ADSL to existing Switch with Router connected to Cable Modem

In my company, I have two switches (24 ports) connecting to 40 computers.

Switch #2 is connected to Switch #1
Switch #1 is connected to DLINK Router with LAN IP as 192.168.0.3

DLINK Router is connected to Cable Modem for Internet access

All computers have 192.168.0.3 as the Default Gateway & Primary DNS and all have static IP address with 192.168.0.xxx

I have registered new access to Internet through ADSL Modem and want to add it to the network so that computers can access the Internet through ADSL when Cable Modem fails.

ADSL Modem has LAN IP as 192.168.1.1

Can you tell me how to configure the IPs and where should I plug the ADSL Modem so that all the computers can access the Internet through either Cable Modem or ADSL.

Hope I am clear with the above. Please help. Thanks.

first with the cable modem you are authenticated by the mac address of your cable mode on your ISPs network. ADSL, depending who is the isp is authenticated by a user name and password or a unique wan ip address on your isp's network. So probably the fastest way would be to get a nother router and plug in the user name and password, or wan ip. Then when the cable modem fails just unplug the cat 5 cable going from the switch1 to the dlink, at the dlink, and plug it into the second router ( adsl ). If you do not want to by a second router you could use the dlink, just reset ans plug in the settings into the dlink web browser. When complete / or switching back turn off the modem and router, turn on the modem, WAIT for a minute then turn on the router...go to your pc's and do an ipconfig / release ipconfig /renew.
Also if any of these routers have wireless and it is not being used TURN OFF THE WIRELESS.
What are you paying for 2 ISPs ? Maybe A T1 line would be better...we have one here in the shop for the web servers and there are different levels of service were they gaurantee 24/7 uptime...real fast too

Things should be automatic.

Thanks for letting me know of the solutions. I think getting / using a second router is much easier and time-saving than re-configuring (or reloading) saved settings into the same router.

However, I wonder if there is still other solution. I mean things go automatically. When the Cable Modem fails (i.e. no internet detected), it should switch to ADSL automatically without Administrator's involvement.

Some sort of single device connecting Cable Modem and ADSL to it.

Just let me know. Thanks v much for your help.
