I just got a D-Link DWL-G122 802.11g Wireless USB Adapter (wow that was long) and installed everything and Windows automaticaly opened up its Wireless Network Connection window and it searched for networks and found the network i was looking for. I clicked the network and it asked for the WEP Key so i put it in (im 100% sure i got it right) and it just sat with a loading bar saying "Waiting for the network to be ready" for about 20 minutes. Then after it was done in the listbox it showed the name of my network in the upper left corner and "Not Connected" in the upper right, then it says "Security-enabled wireless network" then, "This network requires a network key. You are currently connected to this network. To disconnect from this network, click Disconnect below.". So why in the upper right corner does it say im not connected but in the listbox it says i am????? Does anyone know of any alternative wireless network programs that i could use???
