connected but no internet

My laptop is connected to my little wireless network. But it is not possible to gain acces to the internet.
Does anybody know what settings i might have to change/enable?
(b.t.w. :my 'regular' computer, does have acces to the internet)

when it says connecte that just means its connected to the router not the internet, just unplug your modem and plug it back in, it sounds like just the modem isn't connectiing
 
Well, turning the modem on/off doesn't make a difference. This doesn't surprise me, because I do have internet on my 'regular' computer.
