Connect Computer to Speakers

I connected my PC to some stereo speakers in AUX mode and only the right side works. Is this just the way it is?

I also connected the same setup but split the AUX out into RCA cables and it worked just fine (right and left).

Is there a way to have right and left using just the AUX cable and not the RCAs?:confused:
 
found answer

The 3.5mm cables I was using were just mono and not stereo. So, I went out and bought some 3.5mm stereo cables and now I can get right and left to play.:good:
