Computer stopped working

Hello everyone, I have a big problem with my PC. It all started about a week ago. My PC was getting laggy, and it froze from time to time, and one day BAM the blue screen of death... So I decided to re-install windows (I am using windows 7 ultimate), and I have cleaned my PC because i thought dust may be the problem. So after re-installing windows my PC was working way faster, but as I started to download all the drivers it froze... I had no choice but to restart it. After that it started to beep like crazy, and now it does not even turn on.
I have no idea what may be causing the problem, so that is why I am here :)

So the pc is totally dead ?

When your press the power button do you get nothing at all, power lights on the front of the case ? Does the cpu fan spin even for a couple of seconds ?

Yes, the cpu fan is spinning, same for gpu. And the front lights are on. However when I turn it on, it should beep only once, but that is not the case here. It is beeping rapidly, and then restart.

Can you post the full spec of your system ?

At the moment i think you maybe looking at, power supply or memory fault.

Well the simplest thing to check first is the memory, take one of your 2gb modules out and start the pc, then repeat the process for the other module.

This process should help determine if you have a faulty ram module.

Seems like that is the case mate! RAM was the last piece of hardware I would have suspected to be broken :D Many thanks for your help :)
