Hey guys - hopefully this is in the right spot; couldn't find any specific 'computer help' category.
A few months of I got a new PC that I built myself - and for about 2 weeks it ran like a dream. One day, it decided it wasn't going to turn on. I unplugged it, plugged it back in etc., still didn't come on. So i left it for a couple of hours...
When I came back it turned on no worries, but with one small exception. Whenever I turn it off it tries to restart itself about 3-4 times before giving up and staying off. In addition to this, my computer won't respond to come out of sleep mode (fans/light come on in tower, screen stays on standby.) Just for the record, hibernate still works.
Now, obviously it isn't a crippling problem, but it's an annoying one none-the-less.
My setup:
Setup: OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (have tried reformatting, so i'm 99.9%
it isn't a software issue)
CPU - Intel 3.00Ghz Dual Core
RAM - 4GB Corsair DDR2
Video Card - Nvidia GTX 260
HDD - 500GB Seagate
Any help would be greatly appreciated
