Someone offered me a custom built computer with following specs for $225? I'm wondering what you all think, is it a fair price/deal/overpriced?

Intel i3 2105 3.1ghz Dual Core
8gb G Skill Ripjaw DDR3 1333 Ram
Seagate Momentus XT 500gb Hybrid Hard Drive
Gigabye GA-H61N-USB3 Motherboard

That's a decent machine for that price, assuming it has a copy of Windows on it. Even then it still is pretty good. Toss in a GTX 750 and you've got a good little gaming machine.

In my opinion that seems very fair, no graphics card though? I mean regardless that seems very fair, but a decent graphics card for that build will cost you another ~200 dollars.

200 dollar card would get bottlenecked by that dual core.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it does have windows 8 installed btw. Would I be a lot better off purcahising a new graphics card instead (like the GTX 750), now it uses the onboard intel gc.

I would get the best graphics card you can afford, unless you can afford to upgrade the processor and graphics card in which case do that, but I have an i3 and it works fine for me personally.
