Hello all. Thanks in advance for viewing this thread.
Ok, here's the situation. We have a network set up at an ethanol plant, and have multiple PC's and printers hooked up to this network. There is also a PC on the network with a local printer (not shared out on the network). Now this computer locks up when the following situation happens: If any other user on the network tries to print something AND leaves the print dialog box open without hitting OK, the PC with the local printer hooked up to it freezes up. I mean it can't print and the computer just locks up. As soon as the other person on the network hits OK on that print dialog box, the computer frees up and is able to print just fine.
I have rattled my brain around this, and don't know what could be going on. I've gone through some SQL traces to see if I could see anything, but I haven't. It only happens when a print dialog box is open on another computer. Do any of you have any ideas? Thanks again...
