First of all I am new to this forum and it seems like a great place to chat with people! Over the last week I had to undertake my IT exam and although I have not received my marks yet I am just curious to know what my marks were for the certain responses I provided. Below are a few of the questions that came up in the exam and I was wondering if anybody could provide me with assistance as to whether I would have provided the correct answer
NOTE: I am remembering these off memory so they may not be worded correctly!
1. If WEP and WPA (I think it was them) were activated you most likely would be using ____ ? (I put Wi-Fi, is that correct?)
2. A program that can restrict external internet access but allow internal access is called a _____ (I put Firewall, correct?) I wans't too sure.
3. For TV resolution, if a TV had the resolution of 640 x 480 what would the 640 be representing? I had 640 pixels across the width (horizontal) section of the TV. Is this correct? I hope so!
4. Imagine the following URL " http://www.everetts.com/sitemap/index.html " what part of the URL is the name of the web server? I had www.everetts.com so I hope that is right as well. I think the other options were http:// , index.html, and sitemap but I'm certain it is the one I posted above.
